A Bit On Me

Unless you are here from my resume, this is likely your first impression of my writing. I hope to impress you with my witty intelligence. I will do my best.

I started writing as a cultural practice, inherited from the Gaelic Order. The practice is of the fíle, the cruitire, and the reacaire (the poet, the harper, and the reciter). My training as the fíle involved translating rhythm, power, and tradition into brief written prose. My writing became hymns, political records, and cultural preservation. I carry this style of writing with me still.

Over time, I adapted this foundation to academic writing. On this site, you will find some pieces that tell historical facts through heavy storytelling and others that articulate theory through rigorous structure. In some still, you may experience a more well-rounded tone. My voice is resilient and creative, adaptive to my audience. My arguments, however, are consistent through professional collaboration to ensure intellectual soundness.

Influenced by my Irish heritage and continued by my passionate curiosity, I have cultivated an interdisciplinary approach to inclusive, analytical writing.
